How To Grow As A Christian

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN???

The first step to being a Christian is to be Born Again. To be born again, you need to accept JESUS as your Lord and Savior and receive His Eternal Life (ZOE) into your spirit. Then you are Saved.

The truth is, it’s not enough to be saved. Being saved is just the first step. What Happens Next? Growth, it is important that you grow as a Christian. HOW do you grow? The first step of Christian growth is Renewing your mind with God’s word. You can be born again and still think the same old thoughts and do the same old deeds, but that’s not how it’s supposed to be.

THE GROWTH PROCESS

Remember that you received eternal life,which is the life of God into your spirit when you got born again and to successfully live out that life of God, you need to know and have the mind of God. How do you know the mind of God? It is by studying and meditating on the scriptures. What God wants for you as His Child is for you to have His word in your spirit.

As you continue to look into God’s word which is the mirror of your life, you will be transformed (metamorphosed) into that same image, from Glory to Glory. This is how Growth begins. God begins to guide you through his word. You begin to know God more, His Spirit comes more alive in you, you become more Bold, more Joyful, you begin to live a different life, a life of Fruitfulness and Productivity, a life of Victory and Success.

NOTE that you will face diverse challenges (trials, temptations and persecution) but remember that your Faith is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5: 4-5) and that faith comes from God’s word. When you use the word (Speak It Forth) you are sure to have the VICTORY! (Joshua 1:8)
